1. Chicken House Overview
This design plan is for the housing of 50,000 broilers in a closed-type chicken house equipped with modern poultry flooring systems. The project includes two identical chicken houses, each capable of housing 25,000 broilers, for a total of 50,000 broilers. The design aims to ensure optimal growth conditions and health for the broilers.
2. Chicken House Size and Layout
Each chicken house is designed with dimensions of 367 × 47 × 8.3 feet (110m × 14m × 2.5m). At a stocking density of 16 birds per square meter, each house can accommodate 24,640 broilers. With two houses, the total capacity reaches 50,000 broilers.
3. Poultry Systems Used
Deep Litter System in Poultry
The deep litter system in poultry is implemented in this design to maintain a clean and dry environment for the broilers. This deep litter system in poultry helps control ammonia odors, absorbs moisture, and provides a comfortable environment for the chickens, reducing the risk of diseases and enhancing overall flock health.
Feed and Water Lines
Each house is equipped with 5 feed lines and 6 water lines. This system ensures that all broilers receive consistent access to feed and water, optimizing their growth and reducing waste. The design takes into account the distribution of the birds and provides efficient feeding and drinking solutions.
Environmental Control System
The closed-type chicken house features an advanced environmental control system that regulates temperature, humidity, and ventilation. This system ensures a stable internal environment regardless of external weather conditions. The temperature and humidity are automatically adjusted to maintain an ideal growth environment for the broilers throughout the year.
50,000 Broilers Poultry Flooring Systems Chicken House Design
4. Summary
This design plan for 50,000 broilers uses a combination of modern poultry flooring systems, such as the deep litter system in poultry and efficient feed and water lines, along with a robust environmental control system. These features work together to optimize the health and growth of the broilers, ensuring high productivity and sustainability. The closed-type houses maintain a stable environment, reduce disease risks, and enhance overall efficiency in broiler farming.
